Q: What is Derailed?
A: =Derailed= is a club in Second Life, specializing in industrial, gothic, EBM, synthpop, electronica, and darkwave music. The setting is an abandoned NYC Subway Station.
Q: SecondLife? What the heck is that?
A: Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by over 9 million people from around the globe. From the moment you enter the World you'll discover a vast digital continent, teeming with people, entertainment, experiences and opportunity. Once you've explored a bit, perhaps you'll find a perfect parcel of land to build your house or business.
You'll also be surrounded by the Creations of your fellow residents. Because residents retain the rights to their digital creations, they can buy, sell and trade with other residents. The Marketplace currently supports millions of US dollars in monthly transactions. This commerce is handled with the in-world unit-of-trade, the Linden dollar, which can be converted to US dollars at several thriving online Linden Dollar exchanges. Q: Where can I find =Derailed= in SecondLife?
A: That's easy! Using the Search function under the places tab, just enter "Derailed" or "Industrial"! Look for Derailed to be listed in the search results. Or, you can also teleport to the region of Sub Zero and try out your skills at finding us (you really can't miss!). Upon arrival, be sure to create a Landmark and ask one of the staff for a =Derailed= VIP group tag! Also, feel free to explore the entire island to find residential land for rent!

Q: =Derailed= VIP Group? What's this all about?
A: Becoming a member of the =Derailed= VIP group allows you to receive notifications in-world (Second Life) concerning events that will take place at =Derailed=. This will include our fantastic =Derailed= Live DJ's, Hosts, Contests, and random acts of fun insanity.
Q: I would like to become a member of the =Derailed= crew. How would I do that?
A: We are always looking for quality people for our crew here at =Derailed=. There are two different positions you can hold here: Host and DJ. To apply to be a Host, please IM in-world Head Hosts Aven Zapatero or Halogen Magic. To apply to be a DJ, please IM in-world Head DJ DaemonChadeau Nemeth, or Assistant Head DJs Geist Skytower or Mattimeo Slade.
